United Told They Must Pay At Least 15M If They Want To Secure Shock Move For Arsenal Ace

Arsenal have set an asking price of £15m to £20m for fullback Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to reports in the English media.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Red Devils had joined Everton, Southampton and Leeds in the battle to sign the England international, although it is not known how serious their interest is.

Maitland-Niles has impressed during a loan spell at West Brom but the 23-year-old has been used as a central midfielder by manager Sam Allardyce.

United are only believed to be interested in him as a right-back, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to provide competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It is believed the Manchester club have also set their sights on Norwich’s Max Aarons and Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier, but Maitland-Niles is likely to be cheaper than both of them.

The Arsenal star has been linked with United before, back in September but, at the time, the reports were debunked, so we shall see if these latest rumours have any real substance.
