United Told That “Now” Is The Perfect Time To Sign 120M Rated Premier League Star Who Could Thrive Under Ten Hag

Ex-Manchester United fullback Paul Parker believes West Ham midfielder Declan Rice should be eyeing a move to Old Trafford in the near future.

Recent reports suggest that the England international could be sold by the Hammers for £120m at the end of the season, with the player unlikely to sign a new contract, and Parker feels he could learn a lot under manager Erik ten Hag:

“I would say now for Declan Rice that Manchester United could be an even better move for him with the way [Erik] ten Hag and his side are doing at the moment.”

After paying £70m for Casemiro, it seems unlikely that United would also sanction a move for Rice, especially considering his price tag. While it could be argued that the Red Devils could do with having two world-class holding midfielders, it’s expected that the club’s transfer activity will be focused on other areas of the pitch.

A replacement for Ronaldo will be needed when his contract expires next summer, while reinforcements at right-back and in goal may also be regarded as a higher priority.

Rice does have plenty of other suitors as well, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, so you wouldn’t put money on the midfielder making the switch to United at the moment.
