Manchester United are favourites to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, according to Le10 Sport.
The French publication are saying the centre-back “has always dreamed” of playing in the Premier League and they are tipping the Red Devils to “pull out a big cheque” for the 28-year-old at the end of the season.
United are believed to be seeking a partner for Harry Maguire, with the likes of Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones not being deemed at the level required.
Reports in the Italian media have claimed that Koulibaly would be open to leaving Napoli this summer, and Le 10 Sport report that could lead the Senegalese international moving to Old Trafford.
Whether that will actually happen, it seems a long way off at the moment, but it does seem that there would be interest from the player if United were to make a formal approach for Koulibaly in the summer.
