United Tell Pogba To Sit Tight As They Draw Up Five Man Shortlist To Replace Rangnick

Manchester United have asked Paul Pogba and other players to wait until the summer before deciding whether to leave the club, according to ESPN.

The website claims that the Red Devils are hoping that Ralf Rangnick’s permanent replacement will be able to convince some of them into staying at Old Trafford.

United have reportedly drawn up a five-man shortlist as they pursue their next long-term managerial appointment. Only two of the names, Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax’s Erik ten Tag, are known at this stage, but it appears the search for a new head coach is very much underway.

In terms of Pogba, the Frenchman’s contract expires at the end of June, and while a new deal is said to be on the table, he is yet to make a decision on his future.

Juventus, PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all thought to be interested in snapping up the player on a free transfer.
