United Target Pair Worth A Combined £180m As Squad Rebuild Continues

Manchester United will pursue deals for England pair Jadon Sancho and James Maddison next summer, according to ESPN FC

The Red Devils tried to sign Sancho before the start of this season, but the 19-year-old reportedly signed a new contract last month, despite it being claimed that United were prepared to pay up to £100m to secure the winger’s signature.

Maddison, meanwhile, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford more recently, and ESPN say that Leicester would demand between £70m and £80m for the playmaker.

United look determined to secure the best young talent in the country. They signed Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer; both of which look like excellent buys based on their early season performances.

It’s likely that the Manchester club will face competition for Maddison and Sancho, and it will be important for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to have a good season in order to attract the pair next year.
