United Target Left ‘Fuming’ As Club Refuse To Lower £85m Price Tag

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire is frustrated with the Foxes’ refusal to lower their £85m asking price for him, according to the Sun.

Manchester United are said to be the frontrunners for the 26-year-old but the centre-back is believed to have been left “fuming” by his current club’s stance about his price tag.

Maguire has reportedly told teammates that he wants to leave the King Power Stadium but Leicester have been steadfast so far in keeping to their valuation.

United have already made a £70m bid for the defender, which was rejected, and it is believed the Red Devils will make another offer before the transfer window closes early next month.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be considering other centre-half targets if a deal for Maguire can’t be worked out, but the fact that the player has now expressed his desire to leave could lead to negotiations progressing faster.
