United target drops huge hint he is Old Trafford bound

PSG star and Manchester United target Lucas Moura has dropped a huge hint that he is Old Trafford bound after admitting his time in France is coming to an end.

The Brazilian has barely featured for Unai Emery’s side this season, making just six appearances in all competitions – all of them coming from the bench.

Jose Mourinho has expressed is interest in bringing the former Sao Paolo star to United this month as he looks to replace the seemingly outbound Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Lucas’ latest statement on his future suggests he may indeed be on his way out of the Stade de France and en route to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

“It feels the end of a story for me unfortunately,” he told L’Equipe when asked about his future with the Ligue 1 leaders, “Can I stay? It will be very difficult.

“Manchester United? There are topics I cannot talk about. English football I like a lot, it is the most competitive championship.”

Lucas had previously been linked with a move to United back in 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge, however the Brazil star opted to instead move to PSG in a £40 million move from Sao Paolo.

The 25-year-old has found himself surplus to requirements in Paris after the Ligue 1 giants signed both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for world record fees during the summer.
