United Start Talks With Player’s Representatives Ahead Of Possible £31m Transfer

Manchester United have started talks with the entourage of Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi.

Taking to Twitter yesterday, the reporter claimed that both the Red Devils and Inter Milan are interested in the 25-year-old, with Bayern making him available for €35m (£31m) this summer.

There were reports last month that United were working on a deal for Tolisso after having failed with a loan bid during the January transfer window.

At the time, Bayern were keen on keeping the France international for the rest of the season, but they are now willing to let the player leave as they are looking to increase their funds to secure a deal for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.

United will, however, face serious competition for Tolisso’s signature with Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Napoli having also been linked with a bid for the midfielder in recent months.
