United Starlet Makes The List For The Top 10 Most Valuable Young Players In The World

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been listed as the eighth-most valuable young player in the world by CIES Football Observatory.

The website value the 18-year-old at €50.6m (£47m) and he is ahead of Manchester City’s Phil Foden (9th) and Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli (21st).

Unsurprisingly the top two places go to Manchester United target Jadon Sancho (€198.5m) and his Borussia Dortmund teammate Erling Haaland (€101m).

Greenwood is certainly deserving of his place on the list, considering how prolific he has been in front of goal for the Red Devils this campaign.

The teenager has scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 36 appearances, despite only having made 16 starts in all competitions.

Coming into this season, Greenwood had only played four senior games for United, but if he continues with his current progress, there is no doubt that he will be a regular starter for the Manchester side in the very near future.
