United Set To Secure Star On £375K A Week, Six Year Contract

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has agreed a new contract with the club, according to multiple reports in the English media.

The Spaniard’s current deal expires at the end of the season but the shot-stopper now looks set to commit his long term future to the club.

De Gea’s new contract will see him earn a staggering £375,000 a week, with the new deal set to expire in 2025.

United have been in talks with the player for well over a year, with the biggest stumbling block in negotiations being the fact that the 28-year-old wanted parity with Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean is said to be earning up to £500,000 a week, but De Gea has reportedly opted to sign a deal below that figure.

It is believed the keeper has always prioritised his football over money, and he is said to be happy to continue his career at Old Trafford which has already lasted eight years.
