United Send Scouts To See Ligue One Star In Action At The Weekend

Manchester United have scouted Guingamp striker Marcus Thuram, according to reports in the English media.

The 21-year-old is the son of World Cup winner Lillian Thuram, and his performances in Ligue One this season have been noticed by a number of Premier League clubs.

In addition to United, Arsenal and Tottenham have also been keeping tabs on the forward, with all three teams sending representatives to see him in action against Saint-Etienne on Saturday.

Thuram did not get on the scoresheet during the 1-0 defeat but he has impressed playing for Guingamp this campaign, despite the French side sitting bottom of Ligue One.

The forward has scored ten goals in all competitions this season, including a winning goal as his side shocked league leaders Paris Saint-Germain in the League Cup last week.

Thuram is equally comfortable playing through the middle or on the wing and likes to cut in from the left-hand side onto his stronger right foot.
