United Scouts Set To Make Trip To See £25m Rated Dutch Star In Action

Manchester United will have scouts present when PSV Eindhoven play Emmen this afternoon, according to reports in the English media.

It is believed that representatives from the club will be keeping an eye on winger Steven Bergwijn.

The Dutch international has been in excellent form so far this season, scoring ten goals and contributing eight assists in 24 appearances for PSV.

He was also given his first senior cap for the Netherlands by manager Ronald Koeman back in October, playing 68 minutes in the 3-0 home win over Germany.

Bergwijn could reportedly be the subject of a £25million offer from United this month, although interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently mentioned that he doesn’t expect any incoming transfers during the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old was also scouted by Liverpool a few months ago and was the subject of bids from Bordeaux and Torino in the summer before he signed a new contract at PSV.
