Manchester United remain firmly in the mix for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with the France international in the summer of 2020 but, after signing Jadon Sancho back in July, speculation about the Red Devils’ interest in the Barca star died down.
However, Dembele’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, is reportedly offering the 24-year-old up to other teams, with the forward’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.
As well as United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have been contacted, with it becoming increasingly likely that the player will leave the Camp Nou on a free transfer next summer.
Barcelona are believed to be frustrated with Sissoko’s actions, as they feel that Dembele himself is keen on staying in Spain, but if the Frenchman doesn’t reel in his agent, they may lose patience and let him go.
There are three possible outcomes at the moment. Dembele could sign a new deal, he could leave on a free with Barca freezing him out of the first team, or he could be sold in the January transfer window. Whether United will get involved, we shall have to wait and see.
