United Ready To Sanction £154m Double Raid For Portuguese Pair

Manchester United and Juventus are ready to pay the release clause of Benfica pair Joao Felix and Ruben Dias, according to reports in Portugal.

Felix has a €120m (£103m) buyout fee with the Red Devils having been consistently reported over the past few weeks as being interested in the playmaker.

Dias, meanwhile, has a €60m (£51m) release clause, which United will need to meet in order to recruit the centre-back.

The 21-year-old defender only made his first-team debut in September 2017, but he has quickly risen to prominence both at club and international level.

Dias is a regular in Benfica’s first team, having made 40 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese side this campaign.

He got his first senior cap for Portugal in May last year and established himself as a regular starter during the Autumn as his team reached the finals of the UEFA Nations League.

Both Dias and Felix have very bright futures ahead of them, and it seems United are keen to capture their signatures.
