United ‘Ready To Move’ For Solskjaer Replacement But Must Pay Hefty Compensation To Get Their Man

Manchester United are considering replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to the Sun.

In a rather speculative article, the newspaper says that the Red Devils are “ready to move” for the Spurs boss, but they will have to pay a sizeable fee to secure his services.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will ask United for £32m if they want to talk to Pochettino about moving to Old Trafford.

Currently, the Sun believe no official approach has been made, but the fact that Pochettino is unsettled at his current club has led to them considering the possibility.

Solskjaer retains the backing of chief executive Ed Woodward and the board, but the poor performances on the pitch will have to improve if the Norwegian wants to keep his job.

In terms of Pochettino, it is believed the Argentine may want a break if he does leave Spurs so United would probably have to wait to get their man.
