Manchester United remain interested in Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, and could yet make a move for the Portuguese international this summer, according to reports in the UK.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old in recent days, with the Gunners said to be lining up an offer for the player if Granit Xhaka completes his switch to Roma.
Wolves are said to be looking for around £35m for Neves, and United are likely to consider him as a potential economical alternative to Declan Rice, with West Ham expected to demand in excess of £100m for the England star.
United talisman Bruno Fernandes is thought to have provided glowing feedback on Neves, who is a teammate at international level, which is likely to strengthen United’s interest in the player.
Whether it translates into a formal bid, we shall have to wait and see. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have a limited transfer budget and the focus is likely to be on signing Jadon Sancho and possibly a centre-half.
