United Quoted £70m Asking Price After Making Approach For Teen Sensation

Borussia Dortmund have demanded Manchester United pay £70m for Jadon Sancho after the Red Devils made an enquiry for the player, according to the Sun.

The former Manchester City winger is reportedly being tracked by a number of Premier League clubs but United appear to be in pole position to sign the 18-year-old.

The Citizens do have first refusal on Sancho, meaning Dortmund are obligated to accept any bid that matches another club’s offer. United’s rivals also will receive 15% of any transfer fee if the teenager opts to move somewhere else.

The wide man has been in excellent form this season, having scored eight goals and provided 11 assists in 29 appearances. He was rewarded for his excellent displays with his first senior England cap back in October after featuring in the Nations League match against Croatia.

Sancho is said to be happy in Dortmund but he could be tempted by a switch to Old Trafford in the summer.
