United Prioritise THREE Positions As They Step Up Summer Transfer Plans

Manchester United are targeting a new striker, a right-winger and another central midfielder as part of their plans for the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.

Although Odion Ighalo has performed well since arriving in January, it is believed the Red Devils are keen to make sure that Anthony Martial is well supported up front.

Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner have been touted as potential targets, with both having a valuation around the £60m mark.

United’s top choice for the right-wing is no secret with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho their primary target, but it will be a challenge to bring him to Old Trafford considering the strong interest being shown in him.

The central midfield target is likely to be less clearcut. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been looking at both James Maddison and Jack Grealish, but they may well consider a midfielder who plays in a deeper role like Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria.
