Manchester United are willing to pay between £15m and £20m for Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier, according to reports in the English media.
The 30-year-old is said to be very interested in making the switch to Old Trafford, having already told his England teammates that he would be open to a move.
It has been mentioned that Arsenal could be another potential destination for Trippier, with the fullback being used in Atletico’s offer for Hector Bellerin.
However, it appears that the former Tottenham player would prefer a transfer to United. Whether the Manchester club will make a formal approach for the defender in the coming weeks, we shall have to wait and see.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is thought to be keen on providing some competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Trippier would be the perfect choice, if he is available for the right price. Atletico may want more than £20m for the player, considering his importance to the first-team squad.
