Manchester United are keen on signing both Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and PSG fullback Thomas Meunier this summer, according to reports in France.
Ndombele is being tracked by a number of clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, and the Red Devils will have a battle on their hands for the 22-year-old’s signature.
The midfielder is believed to want to take a step up next season but Champions League football is a priority.
With Lyon expected to qualify, it is said he won’t leave for a team who are not in the competition, meaning United must finish in the top four to be considered as a possible destination.
The pursuit of Meunier seems to be a lot more straightforward. United have reportedly scouted the Belgian international extensively this season, and with the 27-year-old’s contract at PSG expiring in 2020, securing a deal should not be too hard.
