Manchester United are interested in two Barcelona players, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan newspaper believes the Red Devils will target both Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic as they look to reshape their squad.
However, it’s likely that United will only make a move for the pair if Paul Pogba is sold this summer.
The Frenchman has stated that he would be willing to leave Old Trafford for a new challenge but the Manchester club are said to be prepared to keep the midfielder unless a huge offer is made for him.
If either Real Madrid or Juventus do make their move for Pogba, though, a swoop for Coutinho and Rakitic could then be made.
Out of the two, the former Liverpool player is the likeliest to leave after a difficult 18 months at the Camp Nou. Rakitic, meanwhile, is keen to stay put, despite reports that Barca would be prepared to offload the 31-year-old for the right price.
