United Plan £120m January Swoop For Two Argentinian Internationals With Both Players Open To Move

Manchester United are plotting moves for Paris Saint-Germain holding midfielder Leandro Paredes and Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claims that the Red Devils are prepared to splash out £120m on the two Argentinian internationals, with both players open to leaving their respective clubs.

Paredes only joined PSG from Zenit St Petersburg last January but has struggled for regular game time this campaign, having started just six matches in all competitions. He reportedly already knows about United’s interest ahead of next month.

Martinez’s situation is slightly different. The 22-year-old is in high demand after a good start to the season which has seen him score 13 goals in 21 appearances for Inter.

However, he is looking for a bumper new contract and is believed to be open to switching clubs. The Argentine is being pursued by the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, but he would be a perfect addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s frontline.
