Manchester United are one of seven teams interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, according to reports in the French media.

The France Under 21 international has had a number of run-ins with Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta due to disciplinary issues and the player is said to have asked to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.

Guendouzi was signed by Arsenal from Lorient for £7m in 2018 but quickly established himself as a first-team regular despite only being a teenager when he broke into the starting eleven.

However, the arrival of Arteta back in December has led to him starting just three league games under the Spaniard. It is now believed he could be sold if a bid of €40m (£36m) is made this summer.

As well as United, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on snapping up the player.
