United On Alert As 43M Rated French Ace Faces Being Sold If He Doesn’t Sign New Deal By July 11th

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele will be given until the end of the European Championships to sign a new contract or he will be transfer listed, according to Goal.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with Manchester United over the last year, while Chelsea and Juventus have also been mentioned as potential suitors, so there could be a scramble for his signature after the final of the Euros takes place on July 11th.

Dembele has one year left on his contract at the Camp Nou but he will have to take a pay cut on the €12m a season salary he is currently earning if he wants to sign an extension with Barca.

The 24-year-old reportedly wants to stay but he has delayed signing onto fresh terms. If he doesn’t put pen to paper soon, it will force Barca to put him on the market.

Reports in recent weeks suggest that the Catalan club would want between €50m (£43m) and €60m (£51.6m) for Dembele. United are, though, locked in talks to sign Jadon Sancho so, at this stage, it seems unlikely that they will also go after the France international.
