United May Revive £20m Bid With Norwegian Ace ‘Likely To Leave’ His Current Club

Bournemouth striker Joshua King is “likely to leave” the Cherries when the next transfer window opens, according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

The Norwegian international, who was subject of a £20m bid from Manchester United in January, has one year left on his contract at the Vitality Stadium.

King is reportedly on the radar of four clubs, with the Red Devils and Chelsea said to be two of them as both are keen on reinforcing their forward lines.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is poised to lose Odion Ighalo at the end of this month, and while United won’t be able to sign a replacement before the end of the campaign, they are believed to be already looking at potential options.

King’s ability to play right across the front three is said to be a key attribute which attracted the Manchester club’s interest in January. It is also likely the reason why Solskjaer’s team have also been linked with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Alassane Plea in recent weeks.
