United Make Key Decision On Dean Henderson’s Future Amid Chelsea Interest

Manchester United are willing to offload goalkeeper Dean Henderson in the summer, but only to Sheffield United, according to TEAMtalk.

The 22-year-old is reportedly in the sights of both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, but the Red Devils are said to be only prepared to sanction a move to the Blades, with a buyback clause also set to be included in the deal.

There is a reluctance from United to agree to a third successive season-long loan next summer, and despite Henderson being seen as next in line to replace David De Gea in goal, there is an understanding that he needs to be playing regular first-team football.

Therefore, it is believed a move to Bramall Lane at the end of the current campaign is the likeliest possibility. It remains to be seen what sort of fee United would demand for the England Under 21 international, but it is thought that an agreement could be reached which would suit both parties.
