United Make Their Decision On Deal To Sign 45M Rated Senegalese Speedster

Manchester United have decided against making a move for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr before the domestic transfer window closes, according to Goal.

One of the key reasons why they have opted against a bid for the Senegalese international is the fact that they won’t be able to add the player to their Champions League squad unless he arrives before next Tuesday.

Combined with the fact that Watford are not open to a loan move, and are reportedly demanding £45m upfront for Sarr, the likelihood of a deal happening this month was always pretty low.

Goal claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy with the options in his frontline, although that appears to be the club putting a brave face on things after failing to land their top target Jadon Sancho.

United still have some time to sign Sarr if they change their mind, with the window due to close on Friday, October 16th.
