United Make Enquiry For Real Madrid Ace As They Look At Potential Sancho Alternatives

Manchester United have “asked” Real Madrid about the availability of Vinicius Jnr, according to Defensa Central. The Spanish website claims the Red Devils were considering the Brazilian as a potential alternative to Jadon Sancho.

However, it looks as though their approach for the 20-year-old won’t go any further than an enquiry. Defensa Central claim that Vinicius has “completely refused” to leave the Bernabeu despite United willing to offer good money for the player.

The Brazilian winger, who also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal in recent months, has not established himself as a first-team regular under manager Zinedine Zidane, with there being fierce competition for places in wide areas.

Even so, it appears Vinicius still thinks he can make the breakthrough into the starting line up, believing he can dislodge the likes of Eden Hazard, Rodrygo and Marco Asensio.

United have been linked with a number of wingers since Borussia Dortmund’s public statement that they will be keeping Sancho, with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele also having been looked at.
