United Make Bid For England U21 Star As They Look To Secure Second Summer Signing

Manchester United have made a bid for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Sky Sports.

It seems the Red Devils are stepping up their efforts in the transfer market after they revealed that they have agreed a deal in principle to sign Swansea’s Daniel James.

Wan-Bissaka is another young player, with the England Under 21 international having only been in Palace’s first team for the last 16 months.

Despite that, the Eagles are believed to be demanding a significant fee for the fullback, with some reports suggesting that they could be looking for £60m.

United may want to move fast to secure Wan-Bissaka’s signature, with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea having previously been linked with the player.

The 21-year-old made his senior debut against Tottenham in February last year and has firmly established himself as Palace’s first choice right-back, having made 39 appearances last season.

Wan-Bissaka is in the England U21 squad for the European Championships which will take place later this month.
