United Looking To Snap Up French Midfield General Ahead Of Arsenal And Liverpool

Manchester United have joined a host of clubs trying to secure Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer, according to reports in Spain.

The Frenchman has been frozen out at the Parc des Princes and won’t feature for PSG in tonight’s crunch Champions League clash.

Rabiot’s contract expires in the summer, and he has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham.

United are, however, also considering the 23-year-old as they look for replacements for Marouane Fellaini.

The Belgian left for Chinese side Shandong Luneng at the start of the month and the Red Devils will want to strengthen the middle of the park in the summer.

Rabiot has been a first-team regular at PSG for the last six years, with 227 senior appearances under his belt despite his relatively young age.

His last game for the Ligue One club came in the Champions League back in December in the 4-1 win over Red Star Belgrade.
