Manchester United are keen on signing Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan publication reports that the Red Devils and Real Madrid have joined Tottenham in pursuing the 23-year-old.

Spurs have reportedly already had a €60m (£53m) offer rejected by Betis with the Spanish club said to be holding out for €75m (£66m).

A percentage of the transfer fee will be owed to Paris Saint-Germain, who Betis will sign the Argentine from at the end of his loan spell in July.

The La Liga club will pay €25m (£22m) to sign Lo Celso permanently, but PSG have a 20% sell-on clause, which means the asking price is pretty excessive considering he is still relatively inexperienced.

The Argentinian international did, though, have a very good campaign, having hit 16 goals and provided six assists in 46 appearances. The midfielder was particularly impressive in the Europa League, bagging five goals in just seven games.
