Manchester United are keen on signing Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the Corriere Dello Sport. The Italian newspaper claims that Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in the 28-year-old.

The Red Devils reportedly tried to sign the Senegalese international last summer before making their move for Harry Maguire, but it appears they have retained an interest in the defender.

Koulibaly’s situation at Napoli is believed to have changed since the beginning of the season, with it being claimed that the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to do business if a club offers a fee in the region of £90m.

The centre-half’s form has dropped off this season, and combined with the Italian side’s poor performances in Serie A, it appears that they are now prepared to let the player leave for a more reasonable price.

Whether that will tempt United into making an offer for Koulibaly in the summer, we shall have to wait and see.
