Manchester United are the team most likely to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele in the summer, according to reports in the Catalan media.

The Red Devils are believed to have kept in touch with the Frenchman’s agents after previously failing with a loan bid for the 23-year-old last year.

Dembele will have just 12 months to run on his current deal at the end of the season and the Red Devils have reportedly made it known to his representatives that they plan to make an offer to sign him on a permanent basis.

A couple of months ago, there were claims that Chelsea, Juventus and Bayern Munich were also considering bids for the France international but it seems United are now the favourites.

Barca are, though, trying to tie down Dembele to a new contract but they do have limited financial resources and they may not be able to compete with the salary package that the Red Devils can offer.
