Manchester United remain favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to Sport1. The German TV channel claim that the Red Devils are leading the way for the 21-year-old despite recent reports that both Chelsea and Liverpool have revived their interest in the player.

It is believed that discussions are “already underway” with Sancho’s representatives and the England international is said to favour a move to Old Trafford.

At this stage, United have yet to make formal contact with Dortmund in regards to tabling a bid, but the winger’s reduced asking price should help negotiations run smoothly.

Sport1 report that Sancho could now be sold for a fee between €85m (£73m) and €90m (£77.5m); figures which should allow a deal to be concluded during the summer transfer window. Last year, United baulked at Dortmund’s demands, with the Bundesliga club unwilling to settle for less than €120m at the time.
