Chelsea are now the most likely destination for Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa in the Premier League, according to TMW. The website explains that the Italian international is still on Manchester United’s radar but if the player does make the switch to England, the Blues are currently the favourites.

Juventus remain in pole position to sign the 22-year-old, but it remains to be seen who will make a formal offer for the player. Last month, it was claimed that the Viola had slapped a €70m (£63m) price tag on Chiesa and it may be the case that clubs are waiting until the end of the transfer window to make their move.

Fiorentina are in need of the money to fund their own transfer plans and it could be the case that United turn their attention back to the Italian as a cheaper alternative to Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils have not yet given up hope of signing the Borussia Dortmund winger but, with the German club having refused to lower their €120m (£107m) asking price, there is no sign of a breakthrough at the moment.
