United Join PSG And Barcelona In Battle For 21-Goal Mexican Speedster

Manchester United are one of three teams leading the race for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano, according to Il Mattino.

The Italian newspaper reports that Napoli are very keen to recruit the Mexican international this summer, but have been told by the player’s agent that the midfielder also has other teams interested in him.

United, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are all believed to be looking at Lozano in view to a possible bid in the coming weeks.

The 23-year-old performed very well for PSV last season, scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists in 40 appearances.

Lozano is young and would add pace to United’s attack so would fit into manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new policy of signing players that the club could develop.

However, the pending transfer of Daniel James from Swansea may put the Mexican down the priority list of signings, with the Red Devils seeking to improve other areas of the pitch.
