Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that captain Bruno Fernandes is a “doubt” for the match against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Ten Hag provided little detail about the nature of the Portuguese international’s injury but it is 50/50 whether he will make the trip to Selhurst Park.
Two other players will face late fitness tests ahead of the Palace fixture, with Scott McTominay (knee) and Jonny Evans (muscular) touch and go.
Evans started training on Thursday, having been sidelined for the last five games, while McTominay is only expected to be back on the training pitch this weekend.
