Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has revealed that he is close to making his comeback.
The Ivorian has been out since pre-season after picking up a knee injury but he took to Instagram to say “just a little longer before returning”.
Fans on X are taking Diallo’s words to mean that he will be available to play soon, and they are excited to have him back in contention for games:

Diallo made massive strides out on loan last season
One of the reasons supporters are excited about the 21-year-old’s return is the form he showed during his loan spell at Sunderland.
In his 12-month stint with the Black Cats, Diallo scored 14 goals and contributed 4 assists in 42 appearances. It is hoped that he can replicate that form in the Premier League.
United could do with having another option in wide areas
With Jadon Sancho having been frozen out, and Antony dealing with his own problems, there is certainly scope for a player like Diallo to make their case for starting on the right flank.
Facundo Pellistri has been given some opportunities by manager Erik ten Hag in recent weeks but it could be argued that Diallo is a better option than the Uruguayan.
Based on his form at Sunderland, there is the potential for him to really push on and perform well for United if he gets his opportunities after returning from injury.
