United In Pole Position To Sign £86m Rated Teenager After Solskjaer Makes First Move

Manchester United are leading the race for Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland, according to Dagbladet. The Norwegian publication claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already made it known that he wants to sign the teenager.

The Red Devils boss worked with the 19-year-old at Molde and it appears that he is keen to be reunited with the player, who has scored an incredible 26 goals in 18 appearances so far this season.

Reports in Italy have suggested that Haaland’s valuation is €100m (£86m) so any move for the Norwegian in January or at the end of the season would certainly be a costly outlay.

The striker has not played in a major European league, which has reportedly put off some potential suitors like Barcelona who believe his asking price is too high.

However, it is said that the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Haaland.
