Manchester United want to complete the signings of both Birmingham City’s Jude Bellingham and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho this summer, according to reports in the UK.
Dortmund themselves are keen on recruiting Bellingham as a replacement for Sancho, but United are fighting hard to win the race for the £35m rated teenager.
The Manchester club are believed to have offered a lower salary to the 16-year-old than Dortmund but they are hoping his interest in moving to Old Trafford will sway things in their favour.
Despite the interest in Bellingham, the Red Devils are also looking to secure a deal for Sancho, which could cost in the region of £120m.
Whether a £155m outlay on the pair is likely to come to fruition, though, it does seem unlikely. If Dortmund were to secure Bellingham, the sale of Sancho would be more likely, while if the Birmingham star moves to United, the chances of signing Sancho as well will diminish.
