United Handed Transfer Boost As Summer Target Reveals Future Plans

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has confirmed that he would consider a return to the Premier League. The former Manchester City player was a target for Manchester United this summer, but the teenager remained in Germany.

When asked about what the future holds for him whilst on England duty, the 19-year-old said he would be interested in coming back to England or even playing in Spain:

“I can’t tell the future but I wouldn’t mind (returning to the Premier League). La Liga I wouldn’t mind also, but we don’t know yet. I feel every league is very competitive. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world, everyone knows that.”

United were heavily linked with Sancho earlier this year, but it is believed the Red Devils’ failure to qualify for the Champions League and the winger’s lack of interest in leaving Dortmund meant a move was not likely.

The England international has started the campaign in excellent form for Dortmund, having scored three goals and contributed four assists in five appearances. He is poised to start for England in both Euro 2020 qualifiers later this week. Gareth Southgate’s side face Bulgaria on Saturday and Kosovo on Tuesday at home.
