United Handed Massive Transfer Boost With £90m Rated Defender Said To Be Interested In Move

Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is interested in a move to Manchester United, according to Metro.co.uk.

The Red Devils have reportedly been pursuing the Senegalese international, and it appears the defender would be open to a move to Old Trafford if the opportunity arises.

Napoli are, however, digging their heels in. The Partenopei are said to value Koulibaly at €100m (£90m) but are unwilling to sell in the January transfer window.

It was hoped that the Italian club’s exit from the Champions League would persuade them into selling up but it looks as though they want the 27-year-old to help them win the Europa League and consolidate their position in Serie A.

United are apparently prepared to wait until the summer to make their move for Koulibaly, although the Manchester club have also been linked with the likes of Roma’s Kostas Manolas and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic in recent days as possible alternatives.
