United Handed Massive Injury Boost Ahead Of The Game Against Arsenal

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba should make his comeback against Rochdale tomorrow night.

The Frenchman has been out with an ankle injury that he sustained just before the international break, but Solskjaer says that he will be named on the bench for the Carabao Cup tie, and should be fit to start versus Arsenal next Monday:

“He’ll probably get some minutes against Rochdale but we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal.”

United have struggled for creativity in Pogba’s absence, and it will be a big boost for the club heading into a massive league fixture at Old Trafford.

Without him, the Red Devils have scored just two goals in three matches, with Solskjaer’s side having eked out 1-0 wins against Leicester and Astana before a very disappointing 2-0 away loss to West Ham on Sunday.

It remains to be seen who else will return to face the Gunners, with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw still on the treatment table.
