United Handed Major Boost In Battle To Secure Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is keen on returning to England and is open to talking to Manchester United about a possible switch to Old Trafford, according to the Times (via Metro.co.uk).

Dortmund’s signing of Erling Haaland means they are now open to selling Sancho next summer, and it is believed the Red Devils are at the front of the queue to snap up the 19-year-old.

Sancho will, though, be a player in high demand. He has been in superb form this campaign, having scored 12 goals in 24 appearances, and the England international has a number of suitors.

Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with the teenager, but United would be able to offer the player guaranteed first-team football.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be very keen to fill his problem position on the right-wing, with neither Dan James nor Mason Greenwood seeing it as their favoured position.

In contrast, Sancho prefers playing from the right, and it could be a perfect fit for both the player and the club.
