Manchester United are seriously considering making bids for Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claims that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is very keen on beating other clubs to the signing of Red Bull Salzburg Haaland, who will likely be sold for a fee in the region of £85m.

Sancho, meanwhile, was originally a summer transfer target, but the Red Devils are looking to exploit a falling out between the 19-year-old and Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre.

The winger was substituted just 36 minutes into the 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich last weekend, with many observers believing Favre was making an example of the teenager.

It has led to speculation that Sancho will seek to leave the Bundesliga club at the earliest possible opportunity. The England international will, though, cost a hefty sum with Dortmund believed to be demanding £100m for the player.

United may face a fight for the winger with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea all said to be keen on the youngster.
