United Draw Up Sensational Three Man Shortlist To Replace Ronaldo

Manchester United will target Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham’s Harry Kane or Napoli’s Victor Osimhen if they lose Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Daily Star.

Following the Portuguese star’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan, it is believed the Red Devils are already looking at possible replacements.

Mbappe is seen as a very ambitious target but it is felt that United are one of the few clubs in world football that could actually pay the Frenchman’s wages.

If they can get Ronaldo’s £500,000 a week salary off the club’s books, it would free up the funds necessary to go after the PSG star.

With Kane, any interest from the England captain is likely to depend on United’s ability to finish in the top four, as well as Spurs’s own situation next summer.

Osimhen, meanwhile, is also attracting interest from the likes of Chelsea, and reports in Italy suggest that Napoli won’t offload the striker for less than €100m (£88m).
