United Consider Sancho Alternative Who Has Not Played A Single Game This Season

Manchester United have included Bournemouth winger David Brooks on their list of transfer targets for the summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Welshman has not played this season after picking up a serious ankle injury but it is believed he is a back option if the Red Devils fail to land Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

Both Brooks and his teammate Joshua King are said to be on United’s shortlist of names, although they are not seen as priority targets at the moment.

Sancho, Jack Grealish and Jude Bellingham are the three that bids will be placed for, but contingency plans are in place if those players aren’t available for any reason.

Despite struggling for fitness this season, Brooks did perform well for Bournemouth during his first campaign at the Cherries, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 30 league appearances following his £11.5m move from Sheffield United in July 2018.
