United Consider £15m Raid For Teenager But Face Competition From Arsenal And Chelsea

Manchester United have lined up Norwich right-back Max Aarons as a possible alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports in the UK.

The Red Devils have already had one offer rejected for Wan-Bissaka, and with Crystal Palace said to be demanding upwards of £60m for the 21-year-old, they may opt to switch targets.

Aarons would likely be available for just £15m and is a promising young prospect after winning the EFL Young Player of the Year last season.

The 19-year-old was a regular first-team player as Norwich secured promotion to the Premier League. He only made his debut at the beginning of the campaign but featured in 43 games, as well as scoring three goals and contributing six assists.

United will likely face competition in the battle to sign Aarons, though, with Arsenal and Chelsea having kept tabs on the teenager in recent months.

Coincidentally, Crystal Palace may also make a move for the Canaries fullback if they do sell Wan-Bissaka to United this summer.
