United, Chelsea And Tottenham Are Battling To Sign Barca Star Who Has Been Told To Find Another Club

Chelsea and Tottenham have joined Manchester United and Juventus in the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to Marca.

Barca are desperate to cut their wage bill in order to meet La Liga’s salary cap and they have even handed Pjanic a “letter of freedom” giving him permission to speak to other clubs.

However, the Bosnian international is reluctant to leave, despite Marca claiming he is not trusted by manager Ronald Koeman, who rarely started him in games last season.

United are actively looking to sign a central midfield player, with recent reports claiming that the Red Devils are in talks to sign Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes. There is, though, a lot of competition for the teenager’s signature, with Paris Saint-Germain thought to be fighting hard to sign the player as well.

Pjanic could, therefore, simply be a cheaper alternative were a move for Camavinga not work out.
