United, Chelsea And Spurs ‘In The Running’ To Sign 113M La Liga Ace Whose Days Are ‘Numbered’ At Current Team

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all “in the running” to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, according to Correio da Manha.

The Portuguese publication claims that the 22-year-old’s days are “numbered” at the Wanda Metropolitano and Premier League teams are jockeying for position in order to secure the player’s services.

Felix joined Atletico for €126m (£113m) back in 2019 but he has not managed to live up to the price tag over the past three seasons, prompting speculation about the striker’s future.

It should be pointed out that the Correio da Manha are not the most reliable of sources so you should take this report with a large pinch of salt, but Felix is someone who may be of interest to United manager Erik ten Hag.

After missing the boat on Darwin Nunez, the Red Devils are believed to have switched their focus from signing a conventional forward to someone who is more versatile. Felix would certainly fit the profile, considering his ability to play in deeper areas as well as, occasionally, filling in out wide.
